In the scope of our operations as a Business-to-Business provider of technology equipment, HutanBio can be classified as ‘Controllers’ of data. We do not process information for others, nor do we profile or manipulate data to generate insights into our customers. We are therefore committed to

What we collect
For the purposes of improving our relationship with our customers, we may collect and store information about potential and actual customers. The scope of this information is in our business-to-business relationship. Your data and video conferencing
From time to time, you might join us on a Zoom call, TEAMs meeting, or webinar. We use third-party software when we do this.
When you register to access an online call or meeting, we will collect basic information, typically this will be your name and email address. We will only use this information to follow up after the call/webinar (e.g., to share a recording).
As a host of these calls/webinars, we may also be provided with a range of additional information which is usually aggregated (so not personal), such as viewing statistics and interest ratings. Whilst we may use this data out of interest, we do not process it for any other purpose.

What we do with the information we gather

Confidentiality
All Communication, by any means or form, between us is confidential although we are happy and actively encourage relevant Non-Disclosure Agreements between you and HutanBio. Where appropriate, and by prior agreement with Clients, we may promote individual companies and projects in marketing communications. These communications will in no way break any confidence in operating methods or confidential information.
Breach Notification
As required by law, we will inform all contacts at risk, within a 72-hour window of becoming aware of an occurrence of a data breach.
Right to Access
HutanBio will provide confirmation as to whether or not personal data concerning you are being held or processed by us, where the data is being stored, and for what purpose. Furthermore, we shall provide a copy of the personal data in writing if requested.
Right to be forgotten *
The right to be forgotten entitles you to obtain from the controller the erasure of any personal data without undue delay and to stop any further distribution of the data.
* Warning – once we delete all your records, we will not be able to monitor your name should you then re-appear via a request for a quote or other information.
